George Ogwel

Présentation

A native of Nairobi, Kenya, George is a writer and editor by profession. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, he has 20 years of experience in government communications. He has also edited and written for various publications, including the Drum newspaper, Capital Style Magazine, and the African Access Magazine.

George has been involved in various community activities and was the first President of the Kenyan Association in the National Capital Region. He has also participated as a Master of Ceremony at the annual Ottawa African Music Festival. He is currently co-host and producer of the weekly “Afrika Revisited” program, which airs on CHUO 89.1 FM at the University of Ottawa. 

 His main interests include international and current affairs, business, music, photography, and culture.
